Coming from the country of the Legendary Seven Time World Champion Casey Tibbs, Sherry grew up in a rodeo family. Competing in every event a girl could get in, she loved the rodeo life. A triple champion at the State High School Rodeo Finals, Intercollegiate National Finals qualifier and a tough contender in the Women's Professional Rodeo Association. A true cowgirl in the arena , in the hills and in the city, sort of like the sound of jingling spurs mixing with falling drops of champagne.
Music was the fuel to get her from one town to the next on those old, desolate highways. When she was back at the ranch, she sang harmony with her two sisters and brother ( who also taught her to play drums.). She loved to play drums " because I can hide in the background" she'd say. Well she overcame her shyness to jump on the front of the stage and now even writes her own songs.
Wyoming is where she throws her guitar down at night but she slips out of her boots and spurs to put on a skirt and stillettos for her frequent flights to Nashville. She is now hooked up with some great co-writers, so get a hold of her first release "Go Ahead - Call Him a Cowboy" ready for you to order or download at I-TUNES or CDBABY or her myspace page.
Currently working on second CD to be released later this year. Get ready!~~~~~~
